I have been having a really hard time sleeping lately. I want to sleep, it is just that life’s circumstances and my racing mind aren’t allowing me to rest. In this extra time that I am awake I pray, so that is a good thing.

So here is a prayer that I have been praying to God. I declare no copyright, so please pray this prayer if you like:

Jesus, you know how much I love You and I know You love me. I am amazed at all that You have done for me… and I am just talking about my life here on earth, not to mention what You did to secure my eternal security. God, You know what is going on in my life better than I do… and quite frankly I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but God, please continue to take care of me and my family. God you know the pain I feel because I know You feel it to. God, do I need to learn something here that I am missing? God help me to learn if that is indeed what You want. Help me to be patient if that is what You want. Help me to be aggressive if that is what You want. God I want, no, I need what you desire in my life. I love You. I will follow You. I will continue to follow You. God call me to get out of the boat and walk on water. I plead with You Jesus… call me and I will answer. In Jesus name… AMEN.
