Let’s wrap this subject up.
To recap:
- If I am going to choose to volunteer I am going to volunteer for something that is going to change the world for the better.
- If someone is asking me to be a volunteer, I want that person to expect me to want to volunteer. I want that person to be excited and passionate about my possible volunteer opportunity.
and the last point…
When I am asked to volunteer I always have one question: Why should I volunteer?
I want to hear a quick, succinct and pasionate reason as to why I should volunteer.
I love Stevens Creek. I volunteer at The Creek and I do so freely and with EXCITEMENT!!! (this from the guy who admittedly doesn’t like to volunteer). I look for volunteer opportunities at The Creek all the time.
Why?
Because through all the volunteering I do at The Creek, I am leading people into a life changing, life giving relationship with Jesus Christ.
I told you I will only volunteer for something that is going to change the world for the better!!!
