I wish everyday was like today.
God has blessed me beyond belief as He has allowed me to be part of some unbelievable church services in my life. Jennifer and I have been at a service where we witnessed a 14 year old girl who had been confined to a wheelchair her entire life, literally get up and walk across the stage (I know you are skeptical, I would be too, but we are personal friends with the people in charge of the conference where this service took place so we knew that this healing was legit and not a side show… if I were you I might be skeptical too, but Jennifer and I were there and IT DID happen.) I have been in services where God has set people free from drugs, sexual immorality, self mutilation… I have seen God move in ways that would just completely and totally freak you out.
But… today. This Easter, the 10 am service at Stevens Creek Church may have been the most powerful, most righteously rewarding service I have personally been a part of. The praise and worship, the spirit, the sermon. To say that God used a certain portion of service more than any other would be wrong. God orchestrated the entire service and I was shaken to my core.
In case you didn’t hear, or if you didn’t know, Jesus isn’t dead, He is ALIVE.
I wish I could I will fight Hell to remember today and how Jesus reached down out of Heaven and moved at Stevens Creek.
Happy Easter! JESUS IS ALIVE!!!
Praise His Name! Great stuff, Gil. It was a rockin’ day and Jesus was glorified! I hope you have a great week and all of us keep our high from Sunday.
