- Two amazing Sunday’s in a row at Stevens Creek. Easter last week, beginning of American Idol series this week. Great stuff.
- Don’t know what Marty is doing differently to get in touch with God, but it sure seems to me that the Holy Spirit is directly downloading what He wants Marty to say
- I was one of the “suckers” today who took the bait and went to the American Idol auditions Creek style. I tried to do Charlie Daniels “Devil Went Down To Georgia.” Note the word “tried.”
- After I finished “singing” someone actually said (and I quote), “You probably thought that was a good idea before you got in front of the camera…”
- Former American Idol contestant Phil Stacey is going to be at The Creek next Sunday. I really don’t know what to expect.
- My favorite American Idol contestant/winner ever is Carrie Underwood. My wife told me she is an attractive young woman (I have never noticed).
- Out of all the Stevens Creek American Idol promo contestants, hands down my favorite was Brennen Baxter. Funny thing about his part of the video… that is exactly how Brennen is!!!
- Life Group after church was interesting. The demon possession discussion went a little further than it needed to. (You had to be there to understand)
- The NFL Draft starts next Saturday. I really like the draft but my wife thinks I am absolutely crazy to sit there and watch hours of ESPN as they talk about football players.
- The NFL Draft is the one event of the year where the NFL and college football completely come together. What can be better than that?
- God is stirring me. My friend EP advised me to keep what God is telling me to myself until I truly know what God wants. I am not patient. I need to know now God! (…but I am heeding EP’s advice… getting things on paper Bro.)
- Dave Willis is possibly the coolest guy on the planet.
- Headed to the ATL Tuesday. God is getting ready to do some big things with SecureGive and I am looking forward to the ride.
